As the Assistant Base Manager for Southwest Airlines, Valencia and her team support over 1,200 flight attendants based at the Orlando International Airport. Her career began at Southwest Airlines in 2000 and Valencia has held several positions with the national carrier. She also serves on the board for the Orlando City Foundation.

Andria Herr, President of Hylant’s Orlando office, has over 27 years of experience in Central Florida. Her community involvement includes serving on the Board of Directors for the Foundation for Seminole County Public Schools and the Foundation for Seminole State College. Andria previously served as Chair of Seminole County Regional Chamber of Commerce, on the board of the Women and Girls Cancer Alliance, and on the Women’s Advisory Board for South Seminole Hospital.

John Dowless is an elected city councilman and current Council President for the City of Edgewood. He is President of Millennium Consulting, Inc., a political, public relations and marketing firm based in Orlando. John is a native Floridian with 24 years of experience in Florida elections, including presidential, U.S. Senate and Congressional as well as many state legislative, judicial and local races. John is a graduate of Auburn University and supports many local non-profit organizations.

Nancy Alvarez joined the Eyewitness News team in May 2010 and currently co-anchors Eyewitness News This Morning alongside Jamie Holmes. Her family is from Cuba, and she was born and raised in South Florida, but considers Orlando a second home. She is a two-time Emmy nominee. When she is not working, Nancy spends time with her husband and two children in their favorite spots, such as Cocoa Beach and a local hangout in Clermont.

Jorge Estevez anchors Eyewitness News at 4 p.m. on WFTV-Channel 9 and Eyewitness News at 10 p.m. on WRDQ TV 27. Jorge began at WFTV in 2001, covering the 9/11 attacks and their impact on Central Florida’s tourism industry. The son of Cuban immigrants, Jorge is from West New York, New Jersey, where he graduated from Rutgers University. He enjoys the warm weather because it gives him a chance to leave the gym and take his five-mile runs outdoors.

Glen Casel is president and CEO of Community Based Care of Central Florida. His leadership roles include serving as board chair for both the Florida Coalition for Children and the Seminole County Children’s Cabinet. Glen previously served as vice president for Children’s Home Society of Florida. Glen is a graduate of the University of Central Florida. He lives in Central Florida with his wife and three children.
